I’ve realized that to take the next step forward as a horse woman and as a company, I need to understand horses from a variety of perspectives and I need to go back to the beginning. The beginning of NF was about being on the road, asking questions, sharing stories and chasing the truth of horses, face to face.

My goal for this podcast is to celebrate the breadth of the horse world, the sub-communities and sub-cultures that exist within it and to learn about what we all share as horse people. After all, horses are the great unifier and the great equalizer. Good horsemanship is good horsemanship, good riding is good riding, no matter whether you wear tall boots, work boots, paddock boots or cowboy boots.

So I’m going to be talking to everyone; cowboys, zoologists, historians, authors, therapists, Olympians, horse trainers, philosophers and everyday horse people, to understand the horse world from their own words, learnings and stories.

Now is the time. Horsemanship has been experiencing its next “horse man shift” since the birth of the term “natural horsemanship” in the 90s. The more I see and read about how things are shifting and changing in our world, the more I know it’s time to hit the road and get a pulse on things.
